1. Go to the official website i.e https://ssc.nic.in/ to check the result of SSC CGL 2020 Tier-I
2. In the result section Click on CGL tab in Orange Colour.
3. And then click on 'Combined Graduate Level Examination 2019'  link for results 
4. Download the PDF where you will find the list of all qualified Candidates for SSC CGL 2020 Tier - I.

SSC CGL 2020 Tier - I Syllabus :
                     
                          There will be a total of 100 questions for 200 marks in SSC CGL 2020 Tier-I exam. Below are the list of section in the Tier-I exam. They are :
                  1)   General Intelligence & Reasoning.
                  2)   General Awareness.
                  3)   Quantitative Aptitude.
                  4)    English Comprehension. 


       Note : 60 Minutes for the whole exam.

    Other Important points related to SSC CGL 2020 Tier- I: 


         1. No sectional Cutoffs.
         2. A negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC CGL Tier-1 Verbal Reasoning chapter –wise Weightage 



         The easiest part of the exam is verbal reasoning which can be solved quickly and can be scored easily. Below are the chapters and weightage details of verbal reasoning in SSC CGL 2020 Tier-I. Better to practice this more during starting of the preparation so that it can be left and just revise during the last of the preparation which can help in generating best time for other sections and getting highest score in the exam.

SSC CGL 2019-2020 Non-Verbal Reasoning chapterwise Weightage/Analysis

             This is also very easy section but need to focus on practising more number of questions to solve quickly. The biggest hurdle in this section is that it will take more time to solve these questions if that can be over-comed then that will be a game changer.

            General Intelligence and Reasoning includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.

SSC CGL 2019-2020 General Awareness Chapter wise Analysis


              This is very tough section because there is no specific limit to the chapters to be covered need to spend atleast 4 hours on this section to cover atmost topics on this. Below are the sub topics list and weightage details for all type of topics which will help you segregate the topics which can be covered easily.

          Questions in this section will be aimed at testing the candidates' general awareness (GK+GS) of the environment around him and its application to society. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Policy & Scientific Research. The questions will also be asked from Science, Current Affairs, Books and Authors, Sports, Important Schemes, Important Days, Portfolios,People in News etc.

SSC CGL 2019-2020 Quantitative Aptitude Chapter wise Analysis


              This is the tricky section which need to be practised more so that marks will increase like anything need to write as mock tests as possible to increase speed of solving as well as increase correct answer ratio which will further increase the overall marks. Compared to remaining two sections this need to be practised more as it will have some boundary what to practise compared to others.

                    Quantitative Aptitude questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time and distance, Time & Work,Percentage. Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra & Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles, Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Heights and Distances, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base, Trigonometric ratio, Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary angles.

SSC CGL 2019-2020 English Chapter-wise Analysis :


           Need to spend atleast 2 hours daily on this to improve the success rate the only problem in this section is that it is difficult to find out whether the answer we are thinking is correct or not. After more practice that can be overcomed.

        This section measures Candidates' ability to understand correct English, his/ her basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. This section may include questions on Phrases and Idioms, One word Substitution, Sentence Correction, Error Spotting, Fill in the Blanks, Spellings Correction, Reading Comprehension, Synonyms-Antonyms, Active Passive, Sentence Rearrangement, Sentence Improvement, Cloze test etc.

SSC CGL 2019-2020 Tier-I Expected Cutoffs :


     Based on the below information try to write the mock tests and make sure the below cutoff marks are crossed. But regarding Tier-I it is best to get as high marks as possible because at final overall marks of all Tier's are taken into account. So, by getting more marks there will be huge opportunities of getting through the final exam.
